This speech was introduced for the first time in 2019. Its aim is for the visitor to discover the 9th Air Force B-17 bombers crews’ living standards and equipment. 

​

Many pieces are shown: the anti-Flak equipment, the adversary planes identification books, the famous leather-made crew outfit as well as a replica of one of the 13 machine guns which were installed in this bomber. The reenactors of Le Recollectif wear flying outfits that the pilots wore during their raids over France and Germany.
